Why Sanstha Aadhaar Number is compulsory for us?
Sanstha Aadhaar Numbers (SAN) gives special identity to your Institution. After receiving SAN, concerned registration authorities will receive all the details of institution activities online which enables easy registration of your Firm/Institution.
What are the benefits of Sanstha Aadhaar Registration?
Following are the benefits of Sanstha Aadhaar Registration: -
1. Establishing activity Profile of Specific area.
2. Setting up a single agency system for receiving the returns from the enterprises.
3. Analysing existing potential business markets.
4. Assessing/assisting market research.
5. Reducing administrative burden.
6. Improving efficiency in registration system.
7. Timely progress of Sanstha Aadhaar Registration and Sanstha Aadhaar Statistics.
Is any ID Proof required for Sanstha Aadhaar Registration?
Yes, ID proof of Owner/Properiter/Nodal Officer of the Applicant/Institution is compulsory. If the Owner/Properiter/Nodal Officer registers through their Adhaar/JanAadhaar Number, SAN will be issued instantly and if other ID proofs like PAN Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Pass Port is used, SAN will be issued after processing.
If Company PAN card is used as other ID proof in application, will SAN be issued to my firm?
No, because Firm/Institution’s PAN Card may be necessary for Income Tax but here for SAN Owner/Residents/Nodal of Institution’s Identity is compulsory. Therefore Owner/Residents/Nodal Identity proof is compulsory.
My Firm is registered in one act for Sanstha Aadhaar Registration and if I need to register for another act, whether I have to apply for new SAN?
No, you do not have to take new SAN for another act and exisiting SAN is applicable. You will have to update your Regostration Number of new act on portal online.
SAN is issued to my firm and I have to update my details?
For updation of any details after receiving SAN, you have to contact nearest District Sanstha Aadhaar Registration Center. You may update your information online till SAN is issued in case of other ID proof.
I have mentioned X work while taking SAN but I have changed my work to Y. Whether I have changed SAN details?
Yes you have to inform changes to nearest District Sanstha Aadhaar Registration Centre so that it may be updated on portal.
Will I have to inform business activities status every year?
Yes, Business activities status, change in work, production or other details have to be informed to nearest District Sanstha Aadhaar Registration Centre at the end of each financial year.
I have submitted my Appliction but not received SAN. Whom I have to contact?
You may contact to nearest District Sanstha Aadhaar Registration centre for SAN.
What I have to do if Ownership of my Firm/Business has changed?
You may contact to nearest District Sanstha Aadhaar Registration centre for updation in ownership details.

What problem I may face, If I submitted different information to registration authority as submitted in Sanstha Aadhaar Number.
Yes, If different information be submitted to registration authority, there may be problem in Sanstha Aadhaar Registration because SAN information is provided to Registration authorities by online integration process.
